Buckle Up – Randori Raises $20M Series A
It’s difficult to put into words just how excited I am to be able to share this news — we just raised $20M in series A funding led by Harmony Partners and our existing investors Accomplice, .406 Ventures and Legion Capital. I’m thankful to our incredible team for all their hard work, and grateful to our investors, customers and supporters who continue to believe in and help further our mission.
With this funding, and with the traction we’re seeing in the market, Randori is well-positioned to deliver our vision to our customers and invest in hiring the best engineering and offensive security talent. In spite of an unsteady world around us, and turbulent financial markets, Randori will continue to further our vision: bringing a trusted adversary to every organization.
As CTO, I’m already busy putting this investment to work. We’re expanding our award-winning Randori Attack Platform to encompass new categories of attack, such as phishing and social reconnaissance. We’re enhancing our reconnaissance and discovery. We’re delivering attacker insights to customers faster. We’re architecting our platform to accommodate increased usage and additional features. These advancements will allow us to provide security teams ever-greater insight into how attackers plan, target and execute attacks — be it against their people or technology. We’re pushing the bounds of Continuous Automated Red Teaming.
Over the past two years we’ve shown the power launching real-world attacks can have on a security program — just look at CISOs such as John Shaffer at Greenhill & Co. The value gained from understanding where things break down when stressed under real-world conditions can be truly transformative and I look forward to partnering with many more of you to help do the same.
Along with investments in our products, Randori will be rapidly scaling our engineering, attack operations and go-to-market teams. To bring our vision to life, I need folks on the team who are excited to attack the most challenging questions in security. This means we’re picky. We need fervent folks who can push the boundaries of vulnerability research and attack techniques. We need teammates to help extend the art of the possible for attack across our customers. We need driven engineers who can deploy the latest cloud technology in a scalable SaaS platform with rapid iteration and aggressive timelines. We need domain experts with grit and with true passion for what they do.
If that sounds like you, check out our open roles on our career page.
If you don’t see a fit but think you can add value — hit me up on LinkedIn or visit www.randori.com/careers and throw us a resume.
While I’m very excited about where we are going — I want to pause for a moment and thank everyone who’s been a part of the Randori team (customers, employees, investors, advisors, friends, family, and the BART crew) for going on this crazy journey. To those of you who read this and join us — welcome.
This is an exciting milestone, and this is only the beginning. We have much more to do, and I know the Randori team will make it happen!
