I’m excited to share that we are joining forces with IBM. The proposed acquisition is expected to close subject to customary closing conditions and required regulatory reviews.
Since the beginning, Randori’s mission has been to help customers understand the attacker’s perspective. We’ve done this by building an offensive security platform that replicates the same techniques attackers use to discover and attack organizations, pioneering both the attack surface management and continuous red teaming markets in the process. I am incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished and the team we’ve assembled, but I am just as excited about the opportunity ahead.
Key to Randori is the idea of continuous improvement. Named after a jiu-jitsu term that means “practice how you fight,” we’ve architected our platform to get better with every new target we discover and each new attack runbook we develop.
True to our namesake, we learn and adapt with our customers. Through this, we help customers adopt a more proactive security posture by helping them discover unknown exposures, better prioritize vulnerabilities and validate their defenses in real-time so they can stay ahead of the next attack.
Upon close, we will look to improve the experience for all of our customers, leveraging IBM’s scale and expertise to expand our offensive security platform to be truly capable of learning faster than attackers. By building off of the expertise of their elite team of X-Force consultants and integrating our attack surface visibility into QRadar XDR, organizations will be better able to triage alerts, hunt for threats, test their defenses, and respond to incidents.
Today’s announcement is the next chapter in our journey but does not change our mission. We remain committed to delivering the best possible attack surface management and continuous red teaming solutions on the market. We look forward to the years ahead and our journey with IBM!
